SITEPULSE / INFORMATION & CAPABILITIES

Cookie policy

What is stored in your browser and how to manage your preferences. Version dated 27 October 2026.

01How browser storage works

Cookies are small records exchanged between the browser and server. Local Storage is a separate browser store. SitePulse uses these mechanisms for sessions, language, visual theme and the cookie banner choice. This policy covers both mechanisms.

02Necessary session cookie

sitepulse_sid associates the current visit with a server session. It is needed for sign-in, form protection and feedback messages. It is a session cookie and normally ends when the browser closes; browser session restoration can affect that behaviour. It uses HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax, plus Secure over HTTPS.

Blocking the necessary session may prevent sign-in and form submissions. This record is not an advertising profile and contains no readable password.

03Language and visual theme

sp_lang remembers your selected language. sp_theme remembers a theme when the application writes it as a cookie. Their configured maximum duration is one year unless deleted sooner. Preferences can also be saved in a registered user’s profile.

The sp-theme local record remembers the selected theme in that browser until changed or cleared. Without a choice, the device’s system theme may be used. Actively selecting a language or theme is separate from the cookie banner buttons.

04Remembering your banner choice

sp-consent is stored in Local Storage to remember “Necessary only” or “Accept”. It remains until changed or browser data is cleared. The banner does not activate an advertising or analytics service. “Accept” does not authorise unknown future tracking technologies.

Reopen the banner using “Cookie choices” in the footer to save a new choice. Use browser settings to remove an existing language, theme or session record.

05External services and tracking

The application does not include advertising cookies or a marketing tracking tool. Loading Google Fonts and choosing Google sign-in may connect to Google infrastructure and involve technical data processing under the relevant service’s rules.

If optional analytics or advertising technologies are introduced, their provider, purpose and duration should be described and they should activate only with the applicable legal basis and required choice.

06How to remove stored records

In browser settings, open privacy or site data, find stats.wedev.bg and remove cookies and local storage. You may be signed out and need to choose your language and theme again. Choices are separate for other browsers and devices.

Use Contact for questions about browser storage. The Privacy Policy explains other personal data processing.
